Heys. Tagged by germ so yeahs here it goes..
1. The perfect lover will definitely have to me male! *cringe* sorry the thought of the other orientation just gives me goosebumps! haha. But i do not want an egostistical guy who cares about nothing but himself and thinks highly of himself. In other words, not a MCP :p Neither do i want someone who thinks of himself as super macho or something and as a result treats/views girls as inferior hmmm this reminds me of someone! LOL
2. Someone who accepts me as i am without judging. How can you live or much less love someone that keeps critising you non stop right? then you'll start to think like if you don't like blah blah blah abt me why are you with me in the first place? The person must be tolerant and patient and put up with my nonsense :) and of cause i will put up with his too? haha
3. He must be my best friend in the whole wide world. haha ok this sounds childish but i think it's REALLY important. He must be the person who can complete my sentences, understand and know me well, the one whom i can talk to everyday and still have tons to say, the one whom can read me without any of us saying a word, the one whom i can communicate in silence with. The one whom i can go to in tears for a shoulder to lean on, the one whom i can share my happiness with too.
4. He must not be sticky and wanna like do everything together or go everywhere together. I need my space too :) afterall, i think space is good it can't just be two people all the time in a relationship there's gotta be time for family and friends who are just or maybe sometimes even more important! haha. I have tons to say about sticky people lol weili and i could go on and on about sticky couples lol
5. He must be patient and tolerant and like when you're angry, understand that sometimes all you need is some time for yourself and not be some idiot who pesters "what's wrong? why aren't you talking to me?" haha seriously sometimes are better settled inside your own mind yourself. Sometimes all you need is some time to think things through and it's mega irritating to have someone bugging you about it for a reason for you being quiet/angry.
6. He must be funny and make me smile! :) Nothing beats the feeling of being truly happy. Even if he makes you mad/sad you know he'll make it up and put a smile back on your face :) When you're stress you know just a phonecall to him will make you smile again cos he has this way of knowing what to do whenever you're in need of some cheering up.
7. FAITHFULNESS. hahaha.. well what is there to say? trust is the basis of a lasting relationship and if there's no trust in a relationship it'd never go far. And the feeling of have to doubt the person you love, the insecurity when all the thoughts go through your mind haha i'm sure it takes a few years off your lifespan. so yeahs, it'd be nice to have someone you can totally trust and feel secure about giving your love to cause you know that they'll never do anything to hurt you. Actually when you love someone you're making yourself very vulnerable, giving all your love to someone not knowing what's going to happen, just trusting that the person is going to cherish it and love you back and not going to hurt you and let you down. so yeahs being faithful is super important.
8. The person must know that happily ever after doesn't come easily. It's faith in the relationship that makes you want to get through the many obstacles you will face and not wanting to give up because you know that at the end of the day that with each obstacle you work through together, it'd make the relationship stronger and one step closer to happily ever after and at least you'll know that the relationship is important and cherished both people The course of true love never did run smooth? haha well said in midsummers night dream. It's true the hard times you learn to appreciate each other and realize how much you mean to each other. Corinthians 13? True love never fails.
All that about the perfect lover said, to me, the person whom i eventually love, is the person whom to the world may not be perfect, but to me he would be. You know like in love actually when the guy told kiera knightley "To me, you are perfect". Yeps, it's hard to explain how love can make imperfect people perfect and that's the beauty of it :)
